Job Fair will be held Saturday March 3, 2012 from 11am to 2pm. Make sure you dress to impress for your interview and bring a completed application. Must be at least 16 years old by May 12, 2012 to get an interview.

 
Lifeguards
Lifeguards
Position Type: Seasonal

Description: Maintaining the highest guest service standard while also maintaining guest safety in an aquatic environment. Special Facilities Lifeguards can guard any depth of water. Provide a safe, and clean aquatics facility, by effectively managing attractions and grounds. Receive monthly training to maintain a high life guarding skill level in order to protect our guests in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Skills required: Needs to enjoy helping people and working with a large team to protect lives. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Comfortable in and around water of all temperatures. Must be able to become licensed through the Jeff Ellis and Associates National Pool and Water Park Lifeguard training program (training provided by Sunsplash with a $155 charge).

Age Requirements: 16 or older

Availability Requirements: Able to work up 25 to 40 hours per week if needed, including nights, weekends, and varied shifts. Must provide a commitment of employment to begin in May and continue through End of the Season. (Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays)

Position Type: Seasonal

Job Summary: Be among the first to welcome guests to Sunsplash Waterpark. Admissions, team members are responsible for Sunsplash admissions ticket sales, ticket taker, ice cream parlor, locker rentals, raft rentals, bag checking and parking lot security. You will work a variety of these positions.

Job Duties: Sell Park admission tickets, raft rentals, locker rental and ice cream using a point-of-sale system, giving appropriate wristbands, change and receipts. Ticket taker is responsible to make sure every guest has a wristband and that has been attached properly before entering the park. Ice cream is also responsible for scooping ice cream and making shakes. Parking lot security is to be a look out for unsafe conditions or suspicious activity. Raft rental is renting rafts along with distribution of raft with proper air inflation.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be dedicated to helping guests have a great experience while visiting our Park, and must be eager to help resolve issues and concerns. Must be friendly, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have basic computer skills Ability to stand for up to six hours. Food handler card required.

Position Type: Seasonal

Job Summary: The Food Service department has various positions including: cooks, cashiers and prep. In each position, one must provide excellent Guest service in the fastest and safest manner. Responsible for the cleanliness of outdoor and indoor seating areas.

Job Duties: Regular food preparation and the use of various pieces of equipment, including fryer, broiler, steam tables and conventional ovens also involves using various kitchen utensils, such as tongs, spatulas, knives, can openers and kitchen scissors. Operate a cash register. Ensure all transactions are accurately and efficiently made without sacrificing courtesy to our Guests while cashiering. Know the prices of the food items sold in units. Follow cash handling procedures as outlined by Cash Control and the Food Service departments. Prepare product for sale, including assembling, packaging and presentation. Take food orders from park Guests. Prepare food in accordance with food service specifications with attention to quality and portion. Clean all areas assigned, including equipment, counters, floors, tables, chairs, etc. Ensure that all spills are cleaned up immediately (clean as you go!). Adhere to the State Department health regulations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be capable of working in a high-volume, intense, and exciting workplace. Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Guests. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Food Handler Required

Position Type: Year Round/Season

Job Summary: The Castle Team Members are responsible for golf sales, arcade, prize counter, go-karts, laser tag, bumper boats, birthday host and food service. You will work a variety of these positions.

Job Duties: Sell attractions at Golfland using a point-of-sale system, giving appropriate wristbands, change and receipts. Ensure all transactions are accurately and efficiently made without sacrificing courtesy to our Guests while cashiering.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be dedicated to helping guests have a great experience while visiting our park, and must be eager to help resolve issues and concerns. Must be friendly, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have basic computer skills Ability to stand for up to six hours per day; cash handling skills desired. Food handler card required.

Job Summary: The catering department is responsible for providing food and beverages for our corporate and other private party guests. Our special mission is to make every effort to serve everyone a top quality meal, in a fast and courteous manner, in a clean sanitary fashion.

Job Duties: Setup catering area, cook and serve food in accordance with food service specifications with attention to quality and portion. Clean all areas assigned, including equipment, counters, floors, tables, chairs, etc. Adhere to the State Department health regulations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications: You must be at least 18 years old and available mainly on weekends. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Age Requirements: 18 or older

Availability Requirements: Must Provide a commitment of employment to begin in May and continue through End of the Season. (Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.) This position works approx. 1-2 days week from 2.5 hour to 5 hour depending on our catered groups needs. It’s a great job with excellent fun benefit for you and your immediate family.
