Safety Tips and Guidelines
- Always follow lifeguard directions and instructions.
- Always drink plenty of water and have mandatory water breaks for small children to prevent dehydration.
- Swim shoes, sandals or socks are highly encouraged as the ground can be very hot.
- Children who are not potty trained are required to wear an approved swim diaper or diaper cover, A diaper cover can be obtained in the Sunsplash Ice Cream Parlor.
- All diapers should be changed in the restroom, please do not change diapers near the pools, on tables or chairs.
- Encourage your group to take frequent bathroom breaks and be sure to wash your hands before returning to the pool.
- Please do not enter any water feature if you are ill or have had diarrhea any time in the last week.
- Please refrain from swallowing water from any pool or water feature.

Don’t let the weather ruin your day of fun! SunSplash offers a worry free weather guarantee! Guests will get a free return ticket if the park closes. If the weather forces us to temporarily suspend operations and operations remain suspended for more than 45 consecutive minutes, a rain check will be issued for a return visit. If operations are suspended, Golfland SunSplash has a 20,000 square foot climate controlled arcade building to keep guests protected from severe weather.
-If the park closes prior to 3:00pm you will receive a full-day admission ticket
-If the park closes after 3:00pm you will receive an evening admission ticket
-If the park closes after 7:00pm you will receive a Night Splash ticket
-All tickets may be upgraded to a different admission.
– Tickets Issued May-Mid-August will expire at the end of the operating season. Tickets issued Mid-August-September will expire at the end of next years operating season.
– No rain checks will be distributed within 45 minutes of closing time.
You must be present to receive a rain check. Rain checks will not be given out once the park is cleared of all guests. There are no cash refunds for bad weather or electrical failure
CABANA RENTALS:
If the park closes due to weather prior to checking in for your cabana rental, you will receive a full refund.
If you have checked in, but have used the cabana for less than 4 hours at the time the park closes, you may reschedule your cabana for a future date at no additional charge.
After 4 hours of use, there are no refunds on cabana rentals for weather or electrical failure.

The waterpark is open from Mid-May through Mid-September, click here for our operating calendar. Some water slides will open as early as March for Spring Break. Golfland is open daily year-round. For more information check our Hours page.
You may only bring in factory sealed bottled water. No outside food or drink will be permitted into the park. Coolers are acceptable as long as they only contain sealed bottled water. If you bring in baby food or bottles they cannot be in glass containers. Alcohol is prohibited on the property, this includes the parking lots. Anyone assumed to have consumed alcohol will not be allowed in the park.
Beach chairs, umbrellas or any other type of shade structure are not permitted. Sunsplash provides several areas for shaded seating throughout the park.
You may exit and re-enter throughout the day as long as you are wearing a valid water park admission band.
Only US Coast Guard approved life jackets will be allowed inside the park. Children under 48″ ARE REQUIRED to wear a life jacket in the wavepool. If you do not have one for your child we will provide one free of charge. Arm floats, inflatable raftstubes, swim noodles, or any other type of swim toys are not permitted in the park.
Admission charge is required for anyone entering the park. Due to the nature of our park, we do not offer spectator rates.
Appropriate swim wear is required. Swim wear is defined as an article of clothing, such as a swimsuit, that has been designed to be used in a pool environment. Swim wear should be lined and may not be transparent at any time. Sandals or water shoes are highly encouraged. Revealing swim wear and thong or t-back swim wear bottoms will not be permitted. Cut off jeans, denim clothing, hard metal objects and shoes cannot be worn while riding the water slides. No undergarments may be visible at any time. No profanity/vulgar images or language allowed. Those wearing jean cut-offs or any other street apparel will not be allowed to use the water slides and may be asked to leave the park. All toddlers are required to wear a swim diaper. If you do not have one, a vinyl diaper cover can be obtained at the gate and is covered in the cost of the toddler admission.
Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended at the park! All children under 12 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older at all times.
Golfland-Sunsplash has many different food options available. The King’s Kitchen located in Golfland serves fresh homemade pizza and subs. The Snackbar at Sunsplash offers hamburgers, chicken strips, french fries, soft pretzels, Dreyers Ice Cream, and more. Combo meals including drinks range from $5-$12
Golfland is proud to be an outstanding community partner.
All donation requests need to be faxed or mailed in on official letterhead. The organization must be within a 100 mile radius of the park. Donations will only be mailed directly to the organization. Unfortunately donations cannot be sent to private residences. Only one request may be filled per organization every 6 months. All donations are filled the first of every month, so please send requests at least one month in advance You may fax donations to: 480-461-3496
